Are our London members Ok?

To all our London friends,
I hope you and all close to you are safe. The news about the subway/bus explosions has come as a shocking surprise to me and I am still treating it as breaking news since some Tv networks are yet to get full details. It's a crazy world we live in & my prayers are with you.

I hope all our blog friends in and around London will let us know soonest that they're all ok.
My heartfelt sympathy & support to all of you.

Farmgal, I shudder to think that there are people out there that could be so inhuman. Whatever the reasons behind the attacks (the war or a run off of events that hit DC or NYC)it's obvious there's no safe place anymore. It's like we're inviting armageddon.

Akiey.. Thank you for the tribute. I am still in shock over this, but I have to say it wasnt unexpected in the sense of if there has to be an attack on London, it had to be during rush hour on the transport network, we just didnt know when (of course)...
Hope all our London bloggers (and everyone else)and their families are ok too!!! XX

Thanks, akiey. I really appreciate this and will never forget you were the first friend in the blogging world to contact me with a concerned e-mail.

Thanks for your concern.

Asante for the concern. My family and I are alright - some of us knew about the bombs around 12 noon as we were taking naps and etc.

May God have mercy on the bombers and those who died.

@Guess, I have to say a big pole for this sad & frightening experience. True that London's very busy transport system has been a target for a while. I remember there were several warnings most of '03/'04.
Thanks for letting us know you're okay, also for the "real time" on the scene account we got on your blog.
Hang in there my friend:))

Nehanda, I could feel your pulse as you commented about Frida:)) believe me I too was excited to realize Feministafricanwoman feels the power behind Frida's phenomenal paintings. You bet her whole life, tragic as it was at times is a great inspiration and yes, am thinking up a Frida blog post to come very soon. Thanks for dropping by:)
